From my point of view, benching Mbekezeli Mbokazi was a costly decision. He is a calm and intelligent defender who brings stability at the back, reads the game well, and starts attacks with accurate passes. Of course, no player can win a match alone, but every time Mbokazi plays, he shows quality and maturity beyond his age. If Chicago Fire want consistency in defence, they need to trust him and give him regular game time.
