One of the teen soccer players who was rescued from a cave in Thailand has died. The British Embassy in Thailand tweeted its condolences to the family of Duangpetch “Dom” Promthep, saying he died in the U.K. where he was studying on a soccer scholarship. When he was 13, Dom was captain of the Wild Boars, a youth soccer team in the Chiang Rai province that got stuck in a flooded cave while exploring in July 2018.
