Clint Dempsey is one of the few who has helped soccer grow in our country and we are proud of him. One of if not the greatest U.S. soccer players of all time.
Lfc should have signed him when they had the chance , surely he would have been world class .
Dempsey did it. Coming from a non footballing country, he did more than okay.
He was absolutely incredible. I knew right away from the moment I watched him play in college (Furman) that he was destined for greatness. He possessed incredible skill, flair, technique and ingenuity which up to that point I hadn’t seen in an American player before. I’m a huge fan of his and being a Liverpool fan I was so happy when we nearly signed him.
Dempsey is from where I’m from East Texas! we are proud and you are a hero Clint! And he’s right not too many make it out!

I think Clint, worst critic is himself. He was amazing for the national team. He really did help us punch overweight when we lost players due to injury. You can always count on Clint Dempsey, stepping up he definitely has a heart of a champion. I’ll be honest I’m not a fan of Alexis Lalis. I think Clint has done way more for US soccer than what he has done.

I sang that chant for this guy. That 2014 WC was the beginning of mainstream American soccer. I know for me it was the first realization of how amazing the beautiful game was. As someone from Arizona, I grew up a (American)Football guy There wasn’t anything else. After that WC I wanted to learn more and watch more and even learned to play
