Messi is by far the GOAT…
It is so frustrating to see him constantly undermined by a lack of proper defense.
Cups/Finals are not won by who gets the most goals but rather by least goals allowed. Miami truly needs to fix this. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for messi to constantly score and assist and yet have this happen over and over again and not a single game won yet at their new stadium.
I love him for the sport, for athleticism, club, country and for the incredibly humble, grateful and gracious person he consistently displays and inspires.
Something must give – starting with how not dragging your feet on new coach decision and direction and give messi the defense and running backs he deserves. I miss the rhythm and continuity of Messi with Busquets and Alba despite their age and stage. They could still be killing it compared to this. Mascherano should not have been dismissed like that – shameful yet not new to Miami.
I support the team and hope for the best but it has become rather irritating to see Messi not properly supported this season despite all the hype, marketing and crowds.
They truly need to create a better defense and attacking/assisting midfield around him. Each match it seems the rhythm is more and more all on on him but without adequate support. That's gotta suck for him. They have talent yet…
I can't wait to see him back with AFA where this doesn't exist – no matter how far or short they make it in WC.
