  1. Blackpool were very unfortunate that year. Played great football at the first half of the season but i remember they would get very unlucky. Adams and DJ Campbell combo unmatched

  2. Still remember that day, there was a wolves fan at one end of the pub, a Birmingham fan at the other and then a few of us neutrals watching Blackpool. Best final day I've seen

  3. Along with 2004/05 season,it was one the best relegation battle in Premier League history

As of 2025/26 season, this was last time Blackpool and Birmingham City play In Premier League

  4. I am not old enough to remember this, I was only 6 at the time but I was thinking for sure Wolves were going down. Still can’t believe they stayed up

  5. Hear me out :
Tottenham draw to Chelsea & West Ham beat Newcastle so 39pts for both teams in Game 37.
But in final day Tottenham lose to Everton in the 90’ and West Ham draw to Leeds with the last minute equalizer so West Ham are 40 pts and Tottenham are 39 pts and Tottenham relegated…

  6. Back when the Premier League was called the "Barclays Premier League" and was full of northern and midland clubs bar the few in London with no VAR ruining the game unlike nowadays where the league is mostly southern and you can't celebrate a goal until VAR has checked it because someone's nose is offside. Glad VAR isn't in the EFL because the EFL is far more enjoyable to watch

  7. My favorite final day! There’s an older video covering this exact match day you can find here on YouTube and it’s wonderfully edited, highly recommended that you watch it as well.
