Lucky but absolutely boring, low-level match at best. Lately, we just manage to win by some bangers. You can’t rely on highlight-reel goals to bail you out every week; that luck is going to run dry. MDS looks totally lost—or rather, egotistical! He has no clue how to actually trigger the Son-Bouanga link-up plays. Look, I know you don't want to be a one-dimensional team that only relies on two guys, but the current formation and passing sequences are completely wasting the most lethal duo in the league. The data don’t lie: Son's got only 3 assists and 0 goals. Bouanga has only tucked one away with 0 assists in the league. Again, 0 goals and assists from either one today! What's going on??? MDS made the most lethal duo from last season become just "OK players"! If MDS won't adjust his system, he needs to go!!

Sonny can't touch the ball because Costa Rican players intentionally keep hugging/holding him every time he got into position, and the referee does not make calls. They are only doing it to Sonny because he would lead to score. These are yellow card offences in Europe. There should have been multiple red cards.

I am a great fan of Sonny, but Sonny didn't play well this game, even with the defense focused on him. Neither did Bounga though. One thing I have to say is LAFC players, including Bounga, better learn to pass better; they really are bad at passing. In my opinion, they may win the games but they are not playing as a team and will lose against good teams. I don't see them improving. The difference between Sonny and other players is that Sonny passes to open teammates, but other players are either too selfish or they don't know how to pass. Often, they have to dribble little bit and create spacing before they make passes. A lot of times, LAFC players just stand there when they make passes.

Even if Coach Santos had a player like Haaland, he would probably still use him the same way. It feels more like politics than football. It seems like he wants the attention on himself and on the players he prefers. Honestly, I don’t feel any sincerity in the way Coach Santos manages the team. The players need to be taught how to play simple, team-oriented football and how to pass the ball properly. When world-class players come to LAFC, they don’t get the ball. That’s why they end up leaving the club
