Ok, so I'm at the game, first one of the year. I am super frustrated watching it early on as I'm on the side of pitch with Yamane, he is ALL ALONE going up the sideline to halfway , You could tell he was super aggressive and wanted to run to the end line and get a through ball over the top. he was more wide open At least a dozen times In the first half then any player on the left hand side of the field but they wouldn't pass to or if they did it would be a badly set up give and go, not a play designed to get to the end line. So now we look at the game in general for the rest of the half. extremely conservative just ball passing left to right no through balls!!! I swear it looked like they didn't have a clue that when one guy gets the ball what he's going to do when the other guy has just passed it like there was no set plays it's just like oh I'll pass it to him oh he passed it back is there someone else I can oh I'll pass over there like It was a Sunday league. You guys don't practice that when you go to the left side you're going to pass to this guy then you're going to make the run he'll pass it back he'll cut inside etc? NO … you obviously DON'T!

I was happy for him I liked him and still do. All the times you would come in for only 10 minutes at the end of the game because of the worst player in history chicharito (although he's tied with eberhimovic) For most selfish non-team player In Galaxy history. and Jovelich would never complain and he would often score a late goal to at least tie, And hes a consummate professional scorer not like Laurel and Hardy Pec and paintsil who don't know how to unify players around them for a better team. in conclusion we should have been 10 times more aggressive and dominated Kansas City because there are terrible team and believed in ourselves that we could do it, A COACHES JOB!! Yamane could have been the key , the eye test said he was ready. ( note, KCs best defender some black dude- was playing opposite Yamane but That team last night was ball-less, and was an exact copy of the team 3 years ago that was balless every game And only had a defender with dreadlocks who would go up to the end line of the other team that year. I was happy the other team scored at least two goals because I want it rubbed in their faces You can't be a pussy in this league, no matter who you have in starting 11. lastly when you're at home you have to be aggressive because the visitors are already up a goal and only need a 00 draw or a tie You're the one at home that needs the win What the f*** Greg?

I thought the Galaxy played OK and the criticism of Vanney is harsh (don't forget MLS Cup in 2024 😀) SKC were efficient, but on another day the Galaxy would have had more luck. 😀⚽

Not Vanney's fault, a lot of crucial players are injured right now. Lots of new players too. I will say that the decision to let go of a proven striker like Joveljic was a really bad mistake and now we saw how that went already. Getting Klauss is a step in the right direction. Hopefully Garces and Paintsil will be healthy soon that way we can have more flexibility in terms of lineups and creating chances.
Too bad the Galaxy had plenty of chances. KC was much more efficient with their chances. The Left back for the Galaxy is a bit weak. He holds the ball too long.
