Widowed real-estate agent Nancy Seavers (Rosanne Barr) and her teenage son Tim (Johnny Galecki) have moved to a small town where football reigns supreme. When Tim joins the junior-varsity team, Nancy organizes a mothers vs. sons football game. This ruffles the feathers of the tradition-oriented town, where seemingly the only ally she has is football coach’s rival Howard Peterman (Tom Arnold).
