Problem with the club World Cup there was no real qualification to be in it. FIFA just conjured way to get the teams they wanted I. In order to allow them to take in even more money to make the whole system top heavy where the teams they say should remain at the top do so. Same way they used ffp to stifle competition. If they wanted fairness they’d introduce a salary cap like us sports. But it’s not about fairness it’s about allowing clubs they want to spend 3-4x the other clubs every season but not allowing others to do the same in order to grow their brand and attract more sponsorship. FIFA is a cartel, those at the top introduce laws that suits whomever feather their nests with backhand deals.

European teams are coming after completing the full season without any big break. South American teams are in the middle of their season. Taking nothing away from Brazilian teams, but European clubs are better.
i have to say asians, south american and african teams are good at the club world cup, however, the climate and the timezone change makes it difficult for europe teams for example: mbappé had gastro because of the timezone change, some clubs play in countries where the temperatures don't go above 25 degrees and in USA its in the 30 and more.
