  1. Growing up in the 80-s and 90-s, my father never really hugged me either or not that I can remember however I always felt his love. I'm a dad now and hugging my kids as much as I can. I think back then it's just wasn't a thing really.

  2. Kate, great interview, but it’s Serie B (as in BEE, like a bumble bee), not Serie Bay as it’s pronounced in Spanish. Bobo never corrected it, but just listen to how he says it during the interview.

  3. Never a heartfelt mention of Torino, the club that raised him in the youth academy and gave him his Serie A debut. I always knew he was a suck-up for Juventus. I remember when we lost the UEFA Cup in 1992 in Amsterdam. We waited for the team at Caselle Airport in Turin. I clearly remember him coming out of the arrivals gate — arrogant expression, zero empathy — and back then, he was a nobody.

  4. Vieri was unstoppable in his prime. Juve tried to buy him back 3 times after they sold him. He also retired Baresi in that famous 6-1 demolition at the San Siro

  5. Great striker…
But may we all be blessed that we have a grandfather who can take us straight to top league clubs for tryouts.

I don't think Christian understands how hard it is to even get that chance. From that chance, came the further opportunity to train and become better.

  6. He should act in Godfather of Harlem, he would make a great guinea boos. Jokes aside, Vieri was scary strong But he was a nightmare for managers and coaches. He once forbade Marco Branca, who was Inter's director, to set foot in La Pinetina sports center when he was there, and so Branca returned to the club's sports center only when Vieri left Inter.

  7. This guy was a legend I remember travelling to.milan from Australia to watch Milan play and as it turns out they were playing Atlanta and guess who was the striker,,,,he played a good game

  8. he was anazing, but he wasted his talent, he could have done way more… no professional attitude always going in clubs and seeking for new models… good for him but very bad for the club (especially inter)…
