It was certainly the biggest game in the English Premier League this weekend as Manchester Utd hosted Chelsea, the two teams who have shared the Premiership title over recent years, went head to head at Old Trafford. But it wasn’t just Man United and Chelsea who were keenly awaiting this game and the result. The Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez in particular, will have been hoping United and Chelsea played out a boring 0 – 0 draw after his own team failed to take the initiative the previous day when his side could only manage a poor point against struggling Stoke City.
