This game is the perfect example of why a close system like MLS will never get high tv ratings and attract a large volume of soccer fans worldwide. You could see the Refs clearly helping Montreal. You can make the case that MLS told them to do so because Montreal is down in the dumps. However, this can be a turn off for a fan watching on tv. MLS does this all the time. Intelligent and in form fans can see the manipulation. I don’t think it’s good for the game.
