This is an attacking themed soccer training session with a focus on overlapping runs in 2v1 and 3v2 situations. The coach is mic’d up so you get an insight into what kind of questions should be asked and what elements need to be an area of focus for players. Players aged 13-17 are involved in different sections of the practice.

An overlapping run is when a player runs on the outside of a team mate who is in possession of the ball. It is an effective tactic to create a 2v1 overload or numerical advantage.
