PSG had a few other opportunities in the first half, like an Mbappe free run, but the Leipzig defense stood up when it had to and kept the match at 1-0 heading into half. PSG Keeper Keylor Navas had two monumental saves in the first half to keep Leipzig scoreless, blocking a powerful strike from Amadou Haidara and tipping away a header from Dayot Upamecano.
PSG would hold on in the second half and held Leipzig scoreless throughout. The only difference in this one was the 11’ penalty goal by Neymar and that was all they needed. The win propelled PSG right back into contention and set them up in a favorable spot to move on from Group H.
