Established in 1910, FC St. Pauli is a socialist football club based in Hamburg, Germany. FC St. Pauli has become one of the most talked about clubs in world football, for their unwavering fandom cultivated over years. Proudly anti-establishment, St Pauli supporters are united in empathy, focusing on social issues and political activism. This is symbolised by the pirate skull and crossbones on the club’s badge. The club are unapologetically anti-racist, anti-homophobic and anti-fascist and it is these political positions that have given the club international recognition way beyond just the Bundesliga.
