Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his final 23-man squad for this month’s back-to-back FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin.
Stellenbosch defenders Thabo Moloisane and Fawaaz Basadien have been included in the squad alongside striker Percy Tau and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams.
The Belgian mentor has also included captain and Sundowns goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams, after his return from injury on Wednesday in a Betway Premiership match against Amazulu.
Broos says winning the two matches against Lesotho and Benin will be a big step towards qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
